Hello universe! My BFF and I, who couldn't be more unique in terms of our look, background and lifestyle recently had a conversation (over way too much wine!), where we found ourselves in a similar position: with newly-found free time on our hands and a lot to say! The idea for this blog was born.
The title of this blog came from how we view ourselves and every conversation we have - whether wine is involved or not. When we get together and really talk about life, love and the pursuit of happiness, we go deep! There's no surface level conversation here, and that's what I treasure most about our friendship. So, the "Musing" part of the blog name comes from that - we regularly have deep reflection about things and muse on and on for hours. But, at the same time, something about those musings can turn into utter hilarity. I think my BFF is the funniest human being on the planet, and I'm pretty sure she would say the same thing about me. And, together, we are hilarious and a typical evening spent together results in our stomachs hurting the next day because of the laughter. I'm not sure how "Amusing" the rest of the world thinks that we are, but we crack each other up.
So, prepare yourselves for some "musings and amusings" by two BFFs about our jobs, crazy families, funny things our dogs do, single vs. married life, travel woes and more, through this blog.
